I have worked across the not for profit sector in technology related roles for the past 20+ years. As a CIO I have led digital transformation for organisations including Macmillan, Anthony Nolan and Tate. More recently as a consultant I have advised on all aspects of Digital Tech and have also worked for suppliers such as Blackbaud and m-hance.

As such I have a broad and detailed understanding of how technology supports the processes and functions of a modern non-profit organisation. I am also a trustee for the international animal welfare charity SPANA where I chair the fundraising and communications subcommittee and their Australian fundraising subsidiary.

Treasurer

I’m new to the committee but not to the charity sector. I’m Managing Director at Data Developments who write finance and administration software for churches and charities. I have held a number of volunteer roles with charities including treasurer, gift aid administrator and training teachers in Africa.

I really enjoy working with small to medium churches and charities and enabling them to access the latest technology to assist them in the valuable work that they do. Looking back its amazing to see how far technology has moved on and is exciting to see where it will go in the future.

Events Lead

I am a not so new member to the committee but looking to take on a role this year. I started my career in public health, working on a variety of projects where we used digital storytelling. I left London which led to a change in direction in my career and a role in Community Fundraising. Look forward to playing my part

Robert Elliott

I’m the Head of Insight at The Children's Society. I’ve been in the sector for around 10 years, at Save the Children, Action for Children and now TCS.

My background is in business consulting, with KPMG, IBM and others, with a focus on CRM and technology to support marketing and sales. I’ve worked on a couple of very large projects (low thousands of users) implementing new CRM systems and designing the organisation and processes around these. Other projects have had a business focus, applying insight and customer segmentation to improve marketing performance.
