Mervi Slade is a Product & Programme Manager for Payroll Giving at Cancer Research UK. She has been working in Payroll Giving in various roles from a Professional Fundraising Organisation to Payroll Giving Agency. She has also worked at Save the Children as their Payroll Giving Manager and before her role at Cancer Research UK worked as a consultant helping charities in Payroll Giving.

In 2018 she was awarded Outstanding Contribution to Payroll Giving award at the National Payroll Giving Excellence Awards.

Ollie Lashbrook is a Senior Operations Manager at Macmillan Cancer Support sitting with the Corporate Partnerships Department and manages Payroll Giving. This has been part of his role since 2017.

Caroline Gaskin is the Development Manager for Together for Animals – a consortium charity who in an average year receives 90% of their income through Payroll Giving. As the sole employee of Together for Animals, Caroline leads on the day-to-day operations and growth of the charity.

Xavier is the Corporate Partnerships Coordinator at WaterAid. After receiving a distinction in Conflict, Security and Development from King’s College London, Xavier has worked in shared value partnerships between the not-for-profit and private sector for the past two and a half years and has worked on WaterAid’s payroll giving programme over the past two years. 

Xavier believes in the power of private sector partnerships and of payroll giving donors to bring transformational change to the biggest issues facing the world today.

An experienced fundraising leader, with a strong track record of success creatively enhancing partnerships and generating revenue in both the voluntary and public sectors, with trusts, high net worth individuals, philanthropists, foundations and corporates. Rebecca's real passion is working to benefit children, young people and families with a focus on increasing income to support and enhance their life chances and opportunities. Rebecca is very keen to develop easy routes to payroll giving for smaller and medium sized charities

Carla is Corporate Partnerships Manager for Air Ambulances UK, supporting the Income Generation team and partners to maximise payroll giving. Prior to working in the charity sector, she spent 11 years working in the hospitality sector looking after charity partnerships for one of the UK’s leading hotel management groups. Carla joined the payroll giving committee in September 2023 and is keen to help support the growth of payroll giving across the sector.
