Jonathan lives in Warrington and having previously worked in politics, began his fundraising career with the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Peace Foundation, initially as a fundraising apprentice, before becoming permanent and leading on the Foundation’s income generation activities.
Jonathan then spent a few years working for a face-to-face fundraising agency, enabling various national and local causes to do even more great work, before joining the Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund whom he works for today as Campaigns Fundraiser.
Outside of his employment, Jonathan serves as a trustee of the Dyspraxia Foundation. As someone with dyspraxia, Jonathan does all he can to raise awareness of dyspraxia and is an award-winning disability campaigner. He also serves as North West Ambassador for the Young Trustees Movement, which aims to double the number of young trustees and change the image of what a trustee looks like.
Why am I involved in Fundraising Convention?
Jonathan is proud to serve on the Convention board and has particular responsibility for the legacies track. He is always particularly keen to ensure that Convention event is as diverse and inclusive as possible, enabling fundraisers of all abilities and backgrounds and charities of all sizes to attend.
