I am a highly experienced fundraising leader with a wide range of skills and knowledge with particular skills in Major Donors and Community Fundraising. I have strong experience working with large, well established charities as well as newer, smaller organisations.

Having been in fundraising since 2004, I have a wealth of experience, securing six figure donations from Trusts, developing and delivering a Major Donor programme that secured £135,000 in the first year. Recently, I worked with a group of highly influential leaders from the Insurance industry, securing donations of £5,000 to £10,000 as well as working on a mass participation event that secured £242,000.

Working in the Community fundraising sector, I have developed excellent experience and knowledge as a Community fundraiser for several charities, beating targets and developing new income stream. I also began my leadership career in this area, managing teams of five and seven, leading them to dramatically increase income through a series of owned events.

As a fundraising leader, I have developed several strategies, either for income channels under direct management or for entire fundraising functions. This includes creating a strategy for a charity in it’s second year of operation. Having held two Trusteeships, I enjoy working with others in a strategic manner and have excellent reporting skills.
